În data de 8 noiembrie 2007, Casa Corpului Didactic Cluj a primit vizita unui grup din partea Ministerului Educatiei din Letonia, care deruleaza proiectul "Development of In-service Teacher Training Network" of the National Program "Development of Teacher In-service Network" .

La aceastã întâlnire a participat în calitate de invitat doamna Dana Zoe MATEESCU, inspector de specialitate CNFP Bucuresti.

The aim of the visit:
to get acquaited with the system of teacher professional development (TPD) in Romania; how it is organized, what stakeholders/actors are involved in teachers' professional development; what is the content of the professional development of teachers - is it defined, if yes, by whom and to what extent? Are there any content modules the teachers should complete. Is there a defined amount of hours for TPD per year, what is the role of NGOs in TPD? etc.

We would be very pleased to get the general overview of educational system of Romania and any information you consider useful for us.
